Here I am with another kid from our program on Tian an men Square. The Square doesn't look that impressive because a lot of the space is covered with different Olympic stuff.


Here is the first wall to the entrance to the Forbidden City.


Behind me is the actual palace temple. We had to go through 3 'entrances' to reach this.


I am here in front of the Temple of Heaven.


Looking back you can see the temples get progressively higher.


This chute was used to drop concubine coffins. The were not privileged enough to be buried in the temple, so they had the next best alternative which was to be buried down a random chute.


Here is a jade horse.
